I kinda hope you just said, “That happens to me, too!”
You know, that whole misery-loves-company thing?
It’s been a while since I’ve written a post that didn’t address the peace and calm of non-overwhelm or a new idea for reaching a goal (instead of just setting it).
But, dang it! Am I the only person who buys office supplies in bulk and then they disappear?
This did not happen to me when I was ‘working for the man.’
But with my own company and an office at home ….
I am convinced my house eats my gel pens …
… ’cause I go looking for them, and they’re gone.
Maybe it’s hiding them underneath the front porch (for future consumption, of course). If that’s true, I’ll never know. I’m not spelunking down there for any reason. Not even for my pens!
So, there you go.
I guess my local office supply store will continue loving me.
As long as they have those 16-pen, blue ink, Pilot G2 gel pen packs? I’m there. (“Hey, there’s Kathie York. Her house must be eating her gel pens, again!”)
How about you?
I hope you got a grin out of this post. But that’s not the only reason I wrote it.
I’d love to know which office supply your house eats. I’ll be there for ya. 😎

Yep, Gel pens, Pilot G2 0.5. My house tries to eat them but I seem to get to them just before they are gobbled up in a pile of papers or, heaven forbid, being sucked down that black hole between the cushions on our couch. I have gone days before I’ve finally come across it hiding under a note pad or near my wife’s computer :). I think it might be something the manufacturer puts in the pen’s DNA that makes them hide so well. Ok, off my soapbox, another great subject and article. Thanks Kathie!
Hey, Norm, you’re welcome. Now I’m thinking ‘conspiracy.’ The pens must be united in the effort. 😊
Glad you enjoyed this. It goes out to social media in a couple of days, so it will be fun to see what kind of chord it strikes, there. I think we’ll discover … we’re not alone!
