A few months ago, my copy mentor – Belinda Weaver of Copywrite Matters – gave us a set of habit-builder challenges.
As you might expect, the one about pausing our schedules immediately caught my eye.
Habit Builder #5 spoke to ‘the pause’ and making the most of our time once we’re there. That has non-overwhelm written all over it, and I have permission to pass Belinda’s thoughts on to you.

[QW31] Make the most of ‘Pause’
~ Belinda Weaver
Borrow from Belinda’s expertise
We’re all working hard to non-overwhelm parts of our lives.
I’m gonna borrow from Belinda’s idea and give all of us an assignment:
Sit quietly for 15 minutes.
Look back over your ‘wins’ for the past 4 months.
Write them down and review them often.
All ‘wins’ count.
None are too small.
Â
“But Kathie, what counts as a small win?”
Wellllll, let’s see …
- Completed two pages for a paper due in July. WIN.
- Didn’t yell at your kid who would try anyone’s patience. WIN.
- Completed a project a week ahead of schedule. WIN.
Hey! thanks for stopping by! I hope you’ve had fun with this Quick Win.Â
Please subscribe to receive other non-overwhelm tips. It’s all about adding peace and calm to our everyday.
