[Zoomcast #3] Embedding a YouTube video into a blogpost

Have a biz issue we need to discuss? Contact me to tell me about it. Let’s get you to non-overwhelm!

Hey there!

This week’s mini-workshop (4:28 minutes) wasn’t planned as part of our Zoomcast series.

But it sure is a good example of repurposing content!

Karen Estrin (LocalWerx founder + marketing operations guru) and I talk about embedding videos into a blog post.

I asked her to record this for me because I’m a visual learner.

By embedding a video (instead of just copying the link we see at the top of the YouTube screen), guests are not taken out to YouTube.

They stay on our websites to watch the presentation.

The longer people stay on our site, the more relevant we are to them.
Google lloovveess relevancy!

To Google, “relevant” =  you might rank higher in searches

In today’s offering, we cover (among other items):

  • The step-by-step process for embedding a video.
  • Ways to change the video’s width and height.
  • What happens after your video ends.

Thanks for stopping by!
Karen and I love sending these little bits of info your way.
